Fall 2010 Registration:
Fall 2010 Registration for Adult & Community Education classes and E2020 Credit Lab are ongoing.

E2020 Credit Lab
• Registration times: 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday
• Adult & Community Education classes
• Registration times: 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday
 

Requirements:
There are no residency requirements to attend classes. However, all Adult Education Students must have an official picture I.D. (Driver License, State of Florida ID or Passport will be accepted) and Social Security Number will be requested in order to attend classes. Students enrolling in the ABE/GED/ESOL classes must take a placement test before entering classes for the first time. No specific test score is required for admission. Placement tests are used for developing individualized learning plans and placing a student in the correct class.

 Additional Information
YOUTH ENRICHMENT PROGRAM “FREE CHILDCARE”
Free Child Care is available ONLY for the children of adult students who are enrolled in the night classes. Children between the ages of 2 years old (must be potty trained) and 13 years old may attend. This program will be open Monday - Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The participating parent must register the child/children and escort the child/children to class daily.

LEASE OUR FACILITY
Our facilities can be leased for evening and weekend use by community groups and individuals for meetings, church services, banquets and performances. The rates are reasonable. Call the Adult and Community Education Office at 561-993-4404 for more information. Out Reach programs for special need groups can be included.

General Education Development (GED) Exam
GED Testing Exam for High School Diploma is offered at Glades Central. Registration and fees is required at least a week in advance. Please call the Adult Education Office at (561) 993-4404 for special accommodations or more information.

Testing Dates:
September 14, 15, & 16, 2010 (Registration ends Sept. 9, 2010)

December 7, 8, & 9, 2010 (Registration ends Dec. 2, 2010)

Testing Start Time: Testing will start at 5:00 p.m. - check in no later than 4:45 p.m. No one admitted after 5:00 p.m. Seats are limited to 40

Fees: $70.00 for Full Battery Math I & II only - $14.00 (Test on Tuesday) Writing & Essay only - $16.00 (Test on Wednesday) Reading only - $14.00 (Test on Wednesday) Science only - $14.00 (Test on Thursday) Social Studies only - $14.00 (Test on Thursday) (Prices are subject to change without notice)
